Troops of Operation Hadin Kai in northeast Nigeria have neutralized ten Boko Haram terrorists during fierce battle in the Lawan Minari axis, Konduga Local Council along Maiduguri/Damaturu road in Borno State.

Major General Christopher Musa, theatre commander operation Hadin Kai revealed this on Wednesday.

General Musa said three gun trucks were also seized, after the terrorists torched two trucks and a petrol tanker in the village.

According to him the terrorists moved from the Sambisa Forest to cross the road into Sasawa Forest in Yobe State.

“Troops of 29 Brigade of OPHK neutralised ten terrorists and seized three gun trucks.

“The ground troops pursued them along the bush tracks, while the Tucano fighter jet was engaged to demobilise the trucks, before killing some of the terrorists,” he said.

He added that some of the terrorists escaped with gunshot wounds towards the forest in Yobe.
