10th Assembly: Hon. Midala Added His Voice in Support of Betara

Hon.(Dr). Midala  Usman Balami representing Askira / Hawul Federal constituency in Borno state has added his voice in support of Hon. Mukhtari Aliyu Betara who has declared his intention to be the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the 10th National Assembly.

Speaking with NEWSng on phone recently, he said that Hon. Betara is fit and capable considering his wealth of experience as Member of the Parliament which include legislative issues , law-making and other house matters. 

“Betara is a groomed , experienced and polished lawmaker who can pilot the affairs of the House.” 

Hon. Midala who came in on the platform of the PDP and according to sources he was able to convinced some of his colleagues from other party to support and vote for Hon. Aliyu Betara who is from the APC.

Hon. Balami said that he had made some consultations and came up with the option to endorsed Betara. 

“For me this has nothing to do with party affiliation but the personality concern” 

He further informed NEWSng that the forth coming House is after value for successful 10th Assembly and national development.
