2023: Atiku promises to return peace to northeast if elected

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has said that if elected he will return peace in North East and all other part of Nigeria, where violence has taken.
Atiku Abubakar disclosed this while addressing crowd of the PDP supporters at the August, 27 stadium Damaturu, the Yobe state capital.
He said, “if Nigerians give us the mandate, my administration would strengthen the capacity of the security agencies of the country as well as to reopened all the land borders across the country.”
The PDP Presidential candidate also assured that, his government would have a plan to empowered women and youths to be self-reliant and economic rejuvenation.
“We will pay the teachers and lecturers their salaries full and also equipped schools, in addition our Universities will be back to normal for quality and effective education.” He said
Also speaking, the Vice presidential candidate and governor of Delta state, Mr Ifeanyi Okowa said that, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is the most qualified among all the other candidate to take the country out of the woods.
He assured Yobe voters that the introduction of BVAS will make it impossible for their votes to be stolen and urged them to defend their votes.
“With Atiku Abubakar, the insecurity that we have today will be no more and please go out there to canvass for votes, PDP will bring back the glory days of this country.” Okowa said.
