2023: Hausa Fulani Drum Support For Governor Buni in Yobe

By: Yahaya WakiliA Head of 2023 General Elections, Yobe South Senatorial District Hausa Fulani Forum has organized a solidarity rally in honour of Governor Mai Mala Buni in Ngelzarma town of Fune local government area of Yobe state.

Speaking, the National President Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACRAN), Alhaji Baba Usman Ngelzarma said all the Hausa Fulani in zone B are here to honour governor Mai Mala Buni and show their solidarity to him for all the good things you have done for us.

“The Yobe Hausa Fulani are very proud of you, governor Buni in view of your numerous support you rendered to us. History of Ngelzarma emirate can not be completed without mentioning your contribution especially in the provision of a befitting central mosque.” Baba Usman said.

He thanked the Governor Mai Mala Buni for the vital role he played in his recent electing him as a National President of Miyetti Allah of Nigeria.

Alhaji Baba Usman Ngelzarma also thanked Senator Ibrahim Geidam for uplifting our Ngelzarma emirate from third class to first class status during his time as the governor of Yobe state.

Alhaji Chiroma Buba Mashio a representive of Jajere constituency at the Yobe state House of Assembly said all Hausa Fulani in Yobe South Senatorial District today endorsed the re-election bid of Governor Mai Mala Buni in 2023 governorship election.

“Governor Mai Mala Buni offered key appointments to members of the group, built nomadic schools and also establishing livestock development centres in the state.”

Also speaking, the zonal Chairman of Yobe South Senatorial District Hausa Fulani, Alhaji Ibrahim Daushe said we establish the forum in 2017 and the forum is sonly for APC only.

He said, the Hausa Fulani zone B pledged to vote for Governor Mai Mala Buni and the APC Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu/ Kashim Shettima and other Apc seats in zone B in general elections.

In his address, Governor Mai Mala Buni has commended President Muhammadu Buhari, the security forces and the APC administration for played a vital role towards ensuring the return of peace in Yobe state and the North East region in general.

He said few years ago you know what happens in Ngelzarma town many people vacate their houses and go for refugees and also on that time no body can sleep with his eyes closed because of the insecurity.

Governor Mai Mala Buni called on Ngelzarma emirate to work with the farmers to find lasting solutions to the recurring farmers and herders conflict in the country.

He appreciated the contribution of the traditional rulers in the state through the maximum support and cooperation to all government policies and programmes.
