2023: Senator Ahmed Lawan Commends Buhari for INEC’s technology

The Presidential and National Assembly elections was conducted successful in Yobe state of Nigeria with large turn out in other local government areas.

Speaking to Newsmen after casting his vote at Katuzu primary school polling unit in Gashua. The Senate President, Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for signing the electoral act bill that give INEC sufficient latitude to introduce more technology for the election process.

He said, this electoral act will make and ensure that the votes of every citizens counts assured to give Bola Ahmed Tinubu maximum support if he becomes the president of Nigeria.

The unfortunate things that, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has win presidential election at the Senate President Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan GCON polling unit in Gashua with 186 votes against Bola Tinubu 107 votes.

Also speaking after cast his vote at Maina Kaina polling unit. The Minister of Power, Engr. Abubakar D Aliyu has commended President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR for enabling citizens to come out freely and secured to exercise their civic rights to vote.

Engr. Abubakar Aliyu also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for organizing a successful elections in the country.

” INEC has fulfilled their promise that there are going to start on time and there are conduct so this will give confidence to people in the leadership of the Independent National Electoral Commission.” Engr. Aliyu said.

“We have gone round to seen for votes for all our candidates and also we are sure of success of our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for timely commencement of the exercise and urged the people to conduct themselves peacefully for a success of the exercise.

Governor Buni made the commendation shortly after casting his vote at Buni Gari Lawanti polling unit in Gujba local government area of the state.

He expressed delight with the large turn out of voters to exercise their civic right despite the fact that Buni Gari was among one of the worst affected area by the Boko Haram insurgency in the state.
