ABUBAKAR SHAIBU ISHAQ: His Personal Community Contributions (PCC)

I would not be fair to myself in this work if I did not say it was interesting and gladden my heart when I hear or see individuals giving back to their communities or participating in voluntary or humanitarian activities with the aim to improve the lot of their people as service to humanity expecting no return or favour afterward. To give back freely to the society irrespective of religion. Political and ethnic differences. It can only take a man with a large heart to engage in personal community contributions (PCC).
What has been done by Alhaji Abubakar Shaibu Ishaq over the years as his PCC is a mockery to some companies as their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which they are expected to do for their host community as the case may be. Therefore, it will interest you to know that there is a distinction between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Personal Community Contribution (PCC) and the line is individual and companies like MTN, Dangote Groups, Nasco Group, Total, Oando etc.
My findings have proved to me that communities in Nigeria feel the impact of individuals contributions then that of corporate bodies. Nigerians are good at giving. Alhaji Abubakar is that individual who has decided to willingly and freely to give back to his community from his investments over the years in various ways, from physical to human capital development (HCD) within Jos metropolitan and its environs ranging from boreholes, food items, youth empowerment and others.

Sadeeq Plaza as he is popularly called in the city of Jos has provided a total of twenty five (25) functionable boreholes to some communities and wards within Jos North Local Government Area. He has also done eight (8) in Jos East Local Government Area. In his PCC projects he added vocational trade for youths to acquire the needed skills in trade or vocation of their choice.
Mallam Abudulladif Bin Hamza one of his aides told me that Aihaji Abubakar Shaibu Ishaq has not stopped at providing water to his society”he was able to influence employment of fifty (50) youths – male and female in some Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) at both state and federal level”.Bin Hamza further informed me that Sadeeq Plaza has paid school fees for some less privileged pupils and students in both public and private schools”. He has also at a point in time provided learning materials for schools in some communities within and around Jos.
In addition to all these PCC Abdulladif told me that he has empowered about five hundred (500) persons through his Financial Empowerment Scheme including youths. During the lock down of Covid 19 pandemic Alhaji Ishaq gave out so much as pallatives in food items to those in need.
Sadeeq Plaza contributions is without religious bias he provided for the electrification of christian and musiim grave- yards in Jos town. He has helped in the smooth registration of some members of the public during the late days of the National Identification Number ( NIN). So many people are grateful to Alhaji Shaibu for he will continue to be the glowing ember in the hearts of those he has positively touched.
