Adamawa law maker sponsors free medical outreach for 10,000 patients
Sen. Binos Dauda- Yaroe (PDP-Adamawa) has sponsored a free medical outreach for 10,000 patients in his South Senatorial District.
The lawmaker, who disclosed this to newsmen in Yola on Tuesday, said the exercise was conducted at the Jada General Hospital in Jada Local Government Area.
Acording to him, the programme, conducted in collaboration with the state Commissioner for Works and Energy Development Adamu Atiku-Abubakar, was aimed at promoting heathy living among his constituents.
He said during the exercise, many diseases, including common ailments like Thyphoid, fever, Ulcer, Diabetis, Hypertension, Malaria, Hernia, Prostate issues, among others, were treated and the patients had been provided with drugs.
The legislator attributed the success of the programme to the regular support being extended to him by Gov Ahmadu Fintiri and the people of the senatorial zone, stressing that they would sustained the tempo.
The reports gathered that the outreach is the 12th of its kind in the senatorial district which comprise of Jada, Mayo Belwa, Tongo, Guyuk, Ganye, Demsa, Shellang, Lamurde and Numan local government areas.
