Efforts by the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai’s Operations Desert Sanity 4 in the Northeast have once again struck a heavy blow to terrorism in the region. At approximately 2010 hours yesterday, air interdiction missions were executed at the Chikede and Degbawa JAS terrorist enclave on Mandara Mountain.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the militants were hibernating in the area, prompting the air component to carry out precision strikes aimed at decimating their capabilities.
Eyewitness reports and real-time observations indicated that the air strikes set the terrorists’ structures and logistical bases ablaze, effectively crippling their operational mobility.
Subsequent Battle Damage Assessment has confirmed that several terrorists were neutralised and key logistical assets were destroyed, significantly destabilizing the insurgents capabilities.
Feedback from the operation noted a minimal reactive response from the terrorists, indicating that the strike had caught them off guard and disrupted their command structure.
