Every politician wants to sample the soup made by the Hausa Community in Alaba Rago of Ojo in Lagos, southwest Nigeria, when they are “politicking.” This community is one of the political boiling pots. The opposition party, especially the PDP, is expecting to gain one of the largest hubs to ensure a fair vote count during the march from the southwest area to Aso Rock Villa. The goal is to win the support of the Alaba Rago Hausa Community in Ojo, Lagos State. However, fate speaks in favor of the APC on Wednesday when Senator Kashim Shettima, a former governor of Borno state and vice presidential candidate for the ruling party, speaks on behalf of both Hausa and Fulani residents of the Southwest.

The thumbs are ready to go with the APC for Tinubu/Shettima in the quest for triumph in 2023, standing taller on the podium with his name renting the air as a gesture of acceptance, the Alaba Rago gathering served as a sign of good things to come. The statistics are merely a representative sampling of what is happening every time the drumeat for Tinubu/Shettima project. The signs are audible on any political excursion. Alaba Rago was unique in the sense that it distributed papers with ink-spelled words of advice to people in preparation to make the right decision for a better Nigeria.

The same tactical moves were used at Zaki Biam, where the Tinubu/Shettima steals the show by inspiring the populace to look through the Tinubu/Shettima binoculars at the Nigeria of their dreams in the months to come. Shettima is not a newcomer to politics; he has mastered the art of deceiving bookmakers while playing the game. Alaba Rago was remembering each maneuver he used to trick his opponent. Sometimes, even his principal gave the golden lad a second glance and expressed gratitude to the gods for their guidance during these political calculations. Recalled that his calligraphic writing at a condolence register in Kwara state makes them look unschooled, and his speeches at every occasion were like tutoring them in speech making when they were all left at the back bench with their arms in their armpits wondering and admiring with uncontrollable emotional faces. He confused them with a nomadic appearance and they lost their voice.

Shettima traveled to Lagos, where Atiku received his life, and took the voice at Alaba Rago, while the opposition was sending bumper stickers saying that the northeastern Shettima’s region would vote for Atiku. His trip to the SARKIN FULANI in Lagos State along with Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje revealed yet another tactical trick that the opposition may want to study for the next contest. Another resounding win for the Tinubu/Shettima project was achieved at the meeting with the SARKIN FULANI.

Someone who called me earlier remembered some of my older writings when it first came to light today (Thursday). a staunch advocate of Obi’s gospel, but shaken by the crowd at Alaba Rago He claims that “Politics has numerous facets that only those who work in it can comprehend. We have been following blindly, but we have seen and heard about the rally at Alaba Rago, where the former governor of Borno and vice presidential candidate for the APC wins over skeptics by persuading them to join the party with his incisive remarks about Nigeria’s unity and why it must be the Tinubu/Shettima way.”

I can infer from his statements that a powerful disciple is on the verge of returning home. Over the past 24 hours, many people have had positive things to say about the Alaba Rago gathering and Kashim Shettima’s remarks. The voices seem to be notices of what is about to occur as the Tinubu/Shettima project moves gradually toward securing Nigeria. In the northeast, Borno, Yobe, Bauchi, and Gombe have already been ahead of the general elections. Taraba seems to be walking like a woman giving birth and would soon fall for APC, and Atiku Abubakar’s home state of Adamawa is getting sick with PDP’s dictatorial rule, Atiku might have won in past elections but can he unite Adamawa around him again? It is obvious; the Alaba Rago massage was audible and clear. The voices of dissent are becoming dimmer by the day.

The Tinubu/Shettima project has begun, and as the drumbeats cross political borders, the steps are getting closer. The olive branches are being taken by those who are politically aware. Many people are beginning to understand the truth on the ground, and this actually demonstrates why Kashim Shettima is the target of those who want to scuttle the movement for a dream Nigeria but on a renewed hope Nigerians are standing with the dreamers of hope.
