ALGON urged government on market construction in Potiskum

The ALGON Chairman Yobe State Harmonized Traders, Alhaji Nasiru Mato has appealed to Governor Mai Mala Buni to call on the contractor handling the construction of Potiskum modern market to speed up the work and complete the project.
Alhaji Nasiru Mato made the appeal in an interview with the NEWSng in his office in Potiskum, the headquarters of Potiskum local government area.
He said, Potiskum is a center of business in Yobe state and if to say government want to construct 10 markets in Yobe for Potiskum is supposed to be giving top priority and should be the first to be completed and open it.
Alhaji Nasiru Mato advised His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni to make changes in his new cabinets and the other political appointments.
According to him, giving the advise has become imperative because Governor Mai Mala Buni has become a leader and father of everybody in Yobe state as a whole.
“My advice and the expectation we have as from 1999 up to date government is working with politicians and civil the servants they didn’t engaged the businessmen in the government to benefit and to assist the local people under them.
Alhaji Nasiru Mato who is also the elected Chairman United Marketers Association of Potiskum and its environs (UMAPO) revealed that, all the people of Yobe state have a good expectation that this time around His Excellency will make a changes in his cabinets and other political appointment in order to assist people and youths.
According to Mato, before His Excellency will do two things this people would do five or ten, so this is the importance of engaging the good people closed to him because they will assist the needed people which they don’t have access to see him.
“The people expectation is to bring changes in the government because somebody was there for over 20 years government is moving with him and our youth are coming up but no chance for them.”
