APC: No Primaries held in Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency in Yobe-Bukar Lala

The Director Kaitafi Campaign Organisation, Bukar Garba Lala has said that the APC primaries for Bade/Jakusko Federal constituency in Yobe state were full of discrepancies stating that there was no election held for the Bade/Jakusko Federal constituency.

He described the APC primaries in Yobe state as a Kangaroo election, which he said is very unfortunate.

According to him, “We are not satisfied and I am not satisfied because there was no election held, it was a kind of kangaroo election.  

“They just produced the result and submitted it to the State Party secretariat, but there was no election in the Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency.  We are not satisfied because there was no election and no communication between us and them”he said.

Also supporters of Ahmed Sani Kaitafi blamed the party’s Electoral Panel for allegedly not conducting primary elections in the constituency despite the presence of the delegates.

Speaking to newsmen Bashir Rankass and Ibrahim Dagona revealed that all other primary elections of various positions were conducted at the Local Government Lodge but for the flagbearer of Bade/Jakusko, there was no election.

“Other elections were conducted here but why the one of Bade/Jakusko was not so, they have declared somebody as the winner, we need to go back to the drawing board and look at the issue and find a solution”

“We have waited to see the arrival of the panel since Friday but no election was held here, we call on the Executive Governor of the state Mai Mala Buni and the party executives to intervene in the matter” they said.

Sani Ahmed Kaitafi on the other hand has paid a visit to Emir of Bade, Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman to thank him for the support granted to him during his campaigns.

He told the Emir that God is the giver of leadership and he is still hopeful he will one day hold a political position at the right time.

However, some of the supporters say, the All-Progressives Congress may lose the seat to another political party having denied the delegates and the supporters the right aspirant of their choice.
