Appointment: Jagaba of Tikau expresses gratitude to Emir

A traditional title holder of Jagaba in Tikau emirate council of Yobe state, Hon. Abdullahi Bazuwa, has thanked the emir of Tikau, Alhaji Dr Muhammadu Abubakar Ibn Grema LLD, for appointing him as a Jagaba of Tikau emirate council.

Hon. Abdullahi Bazuwa expressed his appreciation to the emir and the members of the emirate council, especially the Chiroman Tikau, Alhaji Ibrahim Talba CON, for conferring on him the traditional title of Jagaba of the Tikau emirate council.

The Jagaba made this known in an interview with the Newsng about his resident in Potiskum. He said, By the Grace of God, I will do all I can to see that the Tikau emirate council moves forward, inshallah.

Hon. Abdullahi Bazuwa, a former member of the Yobe State House of Assembly in Potiskum central constituency, said, I am very grateful for this traditional title conferred on me by the emir of Tikau, Alhaji Dr. Muhammadu Abubakar Ibn Grema.

He commended governor Mai Mala Buni CON, Chiroman Gujba, for rapidly transforming the Yobe state into a semi-London, adding that it became imperative to command him because governor Buni is working while Yobe state is developing faster.

Hon. Abdullahi Bazuwa then called on the people of the Tikau emirate council and the Yobe state in general to continue to rally and support the present administration under the able leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni CON.
