Armed Bandits Attack Village in Kankia LGA, Three Killed and Two Injured

On April 6, 2025, at approximately 11:30 PM, armed bandits launched an attack on Unguwar Doruwar, a village located near Kunduru in Kankia Local Government Area.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the assailants, heavily armed and on motorcycles, rustled a number of cattle and shot at villagers, killing three individuals and injuring two others.
Security forced quickly mobilized to the scene of the attack. Unfortunately, the bandits managed to flee the area before authorities could apprehend them.
The victims, who were critically wounded in the attack, were rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital in Katsina for treatment. Authorities have confirmed the death of three villagers, while the condition of the injured remains under medical observation.
