No fewer than four persons were killed by armed bandits who invaded Gudashi Village in Kotokoro District, Mariga Local Government Area of the state.

Zagazola Makama gathered from sources that the attack occurred on June 21 at about 2:45 p.m. when heavily armed bandits, suspected to have come from Sangeku Village in neighbouring Zamfara State, stormed Gudashi Village and opened fire.

Those killed were identified as Umaru Kakale, Yahaya Umaru, Usman Dan-Hausa, and Naziru Mohammed, all male residents of Karan-Bana Village.

The sources said that the team of operatives and local vigilantes had been mobilised and were currently trailing the attackers, believed to have retreated toward their base in Zamfara.
