Armed Forces Remembrance Day: Zulum Honours Fallen Heroes

Borno state Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum today honored Nigeria’s fallen heroes at the 2022 Armed forces remembrance day at Ramat Square in Maiduguri.

The Armed forces remembrance day is to marked annually in memory of Nigerian fallen heroes who paid the supreme price while protecting the territorial integrity of our dear country

Governor Babagana Umara Zulum who was ably represented by his Chief of Staff Prof Isa Marte Hussaini, remain appreciative to the officers and men of the Nigeria Ahmed forces and other security Agencies as well as the hunters and the civilian JTF for their tireless and enduring efforts in the ongoing fight against the insurgency in the state.

“I commended the efforts and Commitment of Nigeria Forces towards ending the 12 years of Boko Haram insurgency bedeviling the northeast region. You have indeed displayed heroic moves towards reclaiming the communities controlled by the insurgents.

“I urge you to sustain the efforts and denied the terrorists a breathing space in your area of operation”. Gov. Zulum said.

The Chief of Staff Prof Isa Marte Hussain also on behalf of the government and people of Borno state launched the 2022 Armed Forces remembrance Day and emblem appeal week with the sum of 10 million naira.
