Atiku eats up 8 years as VP without result – Shettima

All Progressive Congress (APC) Vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima has attacked the PDP Presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar stating that Atiku spend eight years in office, without result of any positive contributions done to the people of the North East.

Senator Kashim Shettima attacked Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday during the Yobe South APC campaign rally which took place at Dabo Aliyu stadium in Potiskum.

“In two weeks coming we are going to defeat him in presidential election, so let him go back to Dubai.” Senator Kashim Shettima said.

He said, if the people voted then into office, he knows the problem of Potiskum,which is errosion saying that they are going to use the ecological funds to solve the problem.

According to him, “90% of the people here are youths, if they give us the mandate, we are going to empowered our youths and women to be self-reliant therefore I call on the people to come out en-mass to vote Apc from the top to bottom.”

Also speaking, the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan said in the past PDP present vice president from the North East and he spent 8 years in office without doing anything.

“But today we came out with our vice president “your own is your own” so let us take this election serious and come out and vote massively to Tinubu and Shettima.” he said.

“Governor Mai Mala Buni is looking for second term, we are expecting nothing less than 1.2 million votes from you the people of zone B.

Speaking, the Director General of the campaign council, Senator Muhammed Hassan Dambu revealed that the vice presidential candidate Kashim Shettima is his mentor , therefore, anybody who loves him should vote Tinubu/Shettima.

He urged all the people of Yobe South Senatorial District to come out to vote Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima.

Speaking, Alhaji Muhammed Gadaka Yobe state Apc Chairman, said ” we are only waiting for election day all our APC candidates will win by the Grace of God. We are lucky and we thank God that we have Senator Kashim Shettima as our vice president.” He added

Also speaking, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state said “anybody who sees this occasion in Yobe state especially in zone B will know that we are united.”

He maintained that presently his administration in the state has constructed modern market, trailer park, primary health care facilities as well as roads and drainages in Potiskum.

Therefore, he call on the people of Yobe South Senatorial District to vote APC from the top to bottom.
