Attack: Over 300 terrorists invaded Kuje Prison – Kyari

DCP Abba Kyari who is an inmate in Kuje prison has revealed that over 300 terrorists’ fighters invaded the prison and operated for over two hours and 45 minutes.

Another report emerging said that soldiers guarding the facility was withdrawn hours before the attack. However, the military is yet to respond on the alleged withdrawal of soldiers, which according to reports aided and facilitated the operations by terrorists where 64 hardened terrorists commanders where released and now on the prowl.

Kyari said ‘Only God saves Us.’ while speaking to close associates, relatives and friend who check on us and are concerned over his wellbeing in the prison.

According to the former super cop, the terrorists attacked the Kuje Prison in Abuja with GPMGs, Bombs, RPGs, and Many Rifles etc.

‘’The total population of the Kuje Prison inmates   is about 1,476, and only 111 of the inmates refused to escape and decided to remain in the prison as 90 per cent escaped.

‘’Those that decided not to escape include former governor Jolly Nyame of Taraba State, Farouk lawal, Abba Kyari and four of his officers, retired AVM and also 107 other inmates who have less than three months to finish their jail term.’’

Kyari was in prison following his involvement with an international criminal Hush Puppy currently serving jail term in America as well as alleged involvement with top cabals dealing with hard substance who were arrested by the drug agency, NDLEA.
