BAMA RECONSTRUCTION TOUR DAY TWO

The Honorable Commissioner of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Engr. Lawan Abba Wakilbe and Chairman Bama Reconstruction on Thursday the 20th of June 2024 was at Banki town where he received the new Head of United Nations High Commission on Refugees UNHCR Borno State Sub office Mr Nicholas Kabuburuyo in Banki. They discussed the forthcoming repatriation from Minawao Refugee Camp Cameroon to Bama and Gwoza. Mr Nicholas was conducted on a tour of Banki town where he interacted with repatriated refugees whom he described as doing very well after the exercise.

The committee members later proceeded to the site of the Banki Cattle market, where construction had just begun and engineers on site were tasked with timely delivery of the project.

Engr. Wakilbe later proceeded to Tarmua town to inspect preparation for commencement reconstruction of the town .

He was accompanied by members of his committee, including Engr. Gujja Dalori Director of Reconstruction in Min. of RRR, Kyarimi Babakura Director planning Min. of LGEA, Arc. Modu Babashehu, Engr Babagana Ahmed and Hon. Mohammed Tijjani, respectively.
