Bandit attack Hunkuyi town in Kaduna, kill one, abduct another

Armed bandits have attacked Hunkuyi town, headquarters of Kudan Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing one person and abducting another.
Eyewitnesses told Zagazola Makama that the attack occurred late Monday night when the assailants stormed the town, shooting sporadically to scare residents.
According to residents, the gunmen killed one local during the invasion and whisked away another before fleeing into the nearby forest.
Community leaders in Hunkuyi appealed to government authorities to deploy additional security personnel to protect lives and property.
