Bashir Machina presides over NSC sub-committee on finance

 
Chairman, Governing Board of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Hon. Bashir Machina presided over a sub-committee meeting which provides an opportunity for detailed consideration of financial matters of the Council.

The finance sub-committee of the Board is given delegated authority for some financial decision-making of the Council while the Board Chairman, Hon. Bashir Machina is its Chairman.

While presiding over the committee, Hon. Bashir charge members of the committee to take their assignment as an opportunity to make a difference thereby put themselves on the stage for more assignments.

“It is when you have done well on one assignment that you will generate much interest where you will be sort for on other assignments. And this is how it is done that people are being recognized because of the past jobs. I therefore, urge you to make a difference here.” Machina said.

Other members of the committee include the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Shippers Council, Mr Emmanuel Jime, some Board members and directors of the Council.
