Comrade Suleiman told this reporter that he is happy with the on going development in the College of nursing Damaturu adding that the learning environment for the students has become conducive now unlike before.
” student nurses are enjoying. At the end of the month, student nurses don’t need to go home to get more money. Their allowances are ok for them. Initially we had a problem with accommodation, but the Governor has built hostels for both female married female woman and males.
“Before now, we lacked offices in the College of nursing but today almost every lecturer has a place to sit. We had problems of accreditation with our own council but they are on top of it. Road network was a problem, but today if you go to school of nursing you will say it is London, roads are everywhere.
” As I am talking to you today, some of our students have gotten admissions in other places and even our students who are indigenous to Yobe State and schooling in other states are still receiving that monthly allowance which is not common in all the states. So you see, the Governor is passionate for his people so we should continue praying that he sustains it.”
