Chairman UMAPO Commends Senate President, Lawan

The Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan (GCON) Dan Masanin Bade have been commended for the financial assistance he rendered to marketers of Potiskum local government and its environs.

Alhaji Nasiru Mato, the Elected Chairman United Marketers Association of Potiskum local government area and its environs (UMAPO) made the commendation in his office at Potiskum while addressing the Newsmen.

He said, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan the Senator representing Yobe North not South he touched all the entire Yobe state, because a person who will assist marketers in any zone like he assisted the whole entire people of Yobe state especially Potiskum.

“Potiskum is a center of business in Yobe state the place where many people will come from far, far away to purchase goods from Potiskum, therefore, this things has come to us as a surprise and wonderful things.” He said.

“These financial assistance offer by the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan will live a long legacy and history in Potiskum local government area and its environs.

Mato assure that, the arrival of this money has assisted many citizens and the economic of our people of this local government has drastically change and improve and even the business transection between our marketers has changed.

“These financial assistance has come in a right time, because the people are desperately need of assistance especially the small business men, impact at this critical situation even 10,000 or 20,000 you give it to small business man you assisted him so much and he and his family they will never forget you through out their life.” He said.

Mato call on the Senate President that, if the Almighty Allah take us to 2027 well, he urged him to contest for the governor of Yobe state he will see the massive votes from zone B.

According to him, we would give him one hundred percent support, adding that, if he become the governor of Yobe state he will doubling on what he done to us now we thanks him so much.
