College of Education Akwanga thrown into a mourning mood

The College of education akwanga has been thrown into a mourning mood as it has lost one of its dedicated staff and chief lecturer, Mrs Cecelia Agbashi.

Until her death she was a lecturer of education foundation at the school of education of the college.

A statement by the Provost of the College Rev. Jonathan Thani stated that the College will miss her for her hard work and commitment to her duties since she started her career in the institution.

“It is with heavy heart but total submission to the will of God Almighty, the Provost, College of Education Akwanga, Rev. Dr. Jonathan Wakili Thani on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of the institution, regret to announce the passing away of one of its hard working and dedicated staff, CHIEF MRS. CECILIA ABASHI, which sad event occurred on Monday 19th February, 2024, by 06:00am after a protracted illness at Garki General Hospital, Abuja.

“Until her demise, she was a Chief Lecturer and a staff member with the Foundation, College of Education Akwanga.” said the statement.

Management sources told this reporter that burial arrangement has already been announced for Tuesday for interment.
