Constitute Trusted Councils – Nasiru Urges Government

The Chairman of Yobe State Harmonized Traders, Alhaji Nasiru Mato, has urged the newly constituted federal executive councils that Nigerians are expecting many things from them.

Alhaji Nasiru Mato, who is also the Chairman of the United Marketers Association Potiskum local government and its environs (UMAPO), said not people like Fetus Keyamo and all the rest are new in the seats of minister. And when you bring in a new person to execute new things, he will try his best to see that he performs excellent work for the people.

The UMAPO Chairman disclosed this to newsmen in his office while reacting to the newly constituted federal executive councils by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCON.

“As Mr. President, give them an example that like a vehicle, he is a driver. Nigerians stay aside watching them, and being a driver, all the responsibility is on him and them. Therefore, he urged them to perform better. People are expecting many good things from them, Mato said.

On Governor Mai Mala Buni’s newly formed State Executive Councils, Alhaji Nasiru Mato charged them that now that things have changed, let them work hard for the progress of the people and move the state and the party forward.

Nasiru Mato calls on the youths in the state to be patient enough to extend their support and cooperation to the government and the newly constituted State Executive Councils with a view to moving our state forward.

Alhaji Mato bags about twenty (20) awards from different organizations, including elders organizations, women’s organizations, youth organizations, the government, and others. These awards are in my recognition of staying with the people peacefully.

According to him, I obtained this award after my election as the elected chairman of the United Marketers Association Potiskum local government, adding that this award is not given to everybody, as you can see.

Alhaji Nasiru Mato thanked Almighty Allah, the people, elders, youth organizations, and women’s organizations so much for presenting the awards to him; this would motivate him to redouble his efforts in serving the people better.
