Cooperative Society Seek to Exploits More Sources of Funds

At her 1st Annual General Meeting ( AGM ) of Lifeline Multi-purpose Cooperative Society ( Thrift and Loans) which was held recently at their corporate office in Jos, Plateau State.

In his opening remarks the Chairman Mr. Bitrus Gumwefh welcomed all shareholders present, informing them of the need for more cooperation and mutual understanding among the Management/staff, members and shareholders. He further said “our society need more funds for future investments.” He suggested that Lifeline Society should look and exploits other sources for more funds.

In his speech the Executive Secretary Elder. Amos Audu Balami, told shareholders that “their Cooperative Society has done well in its financial and business transactions. Management has declared dividends of 0.29k for to all shareholders.” He further informed them on the challenges faced in the financial year in question. He advised shareholders to increase in their shareholdings and to bring in more people of like minds to invest in Lifeline Cooperative Society.

During the meeting the new EXCO were inaugurated and sworn by taken an oath of office ministered by Barr. Weng Dalyop.

In a good will message and vote of thanks a member of the EXCO gave kudos to the Management and Staff and also appreciated shareholders for their financial contributions . And to always remember the slogan of their Cooperative Society ‘Stronger Together’ .
