Death in Maiduguri: Senator Lawan condoles Senator Monguno

The President of the 9th Senate, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, Ph.D., GCON, Sardaunan Bade, Yobe North Senatorial District, has embarked on a solemn visit to Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, to express his heartfelt condolences to his esteemed colleague, Senator Mohammad Tahir Monguno, on the demise of his beloved father, Alhaji Tijjani Muhammad.

The late Alhaji Tijjani Muhammad died last Saturday at the age of 95 and was barried according to Islamic rites on Sunday in Maiduguri.

The passing of Alhaji Muhammad is an irreplaceable loss, not only to Senator Monguno’s family but also to our great nation.

“Upon arrival in Maiduguri, Senator Ahmed Lawan was received by Senator Monguno, who represents Borno North Senatorial District in the 10th Senate. Together, they offered their prayers for the repose of the deceased’s soul.

Senator Monguno and his family expressed their sincere gratitude for Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan’s visit and the condolences he conveyed.

“On behalf of the people of Yobe North Senatorial District, I extend my deepest sympathies to Senator Monguno and his family during this difficult time. May the memories of his late father provide solace and strength to his loved ones and the people of Borno State.

May Allah (SWT) grant the soul of Alhaji Tijjani Muhammad eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
