Dino Melaye: A politician and his pains of defeat

Dino Melaye is already restless. Like I said of him in the past, he needs help. The pain from the blow of defeat left our Dino prowling the streets of Abuja and he is just announcing to the public that he is inviting his colleagues elsewhere to join him into all forms of dirty jobs he intends to carry out. Perhaps he still wants to show the world how unfortunate he was and is about to be by flooding the city of Abuja with what he called ‘Area Boys’. Of course, we know this kind of political play but we have confidence in our police and men of the drug law enforcement and therefore, urged them to lookout for Dino Melaye and his brewing maggots.

If anything, I pity former Senator Dino Melaye coming out to make unholy statement against the President elect in such a manner that only depicts how frustrated he was over the presidential election. There is a video in circulation where an area boy in Adamawa was asking Dino Melaye why he left him behind. The man in the video said Dino Melaye is a long time friend and that they have been smoking Indianhem together. I will not be surprise if he (Dino Melaye) is tactically using the defeat of the February elections to invite his old friends to disrupt the peace of the capital city.

Moves by Dino Melaye since he stage a walkout at the collation centre in Abuja and his subsequent utterances are an indication to such treacherous move to mar the peace of the city of Abuja. But the good news is that many Nigerians are conversant with his style. The President elect has governed Lagos state for eight years and have reduced the number of cases about the ‘area boys’ to minimal that occurances as Dino Melaye was trying to hatch has been forgotten. If there are such cases coming, it is only going to show his next plan at disrupting peace.

Many area boys which he is now mentioning including the area father have long relocated to Abuja years before Tinubu takes the first step of his political victory. The edge he got to rule the country when he beats Atiku and Obi in the February 25 general elections was purely of the people’s choice. To say that because Tinubu win the election ‘Area Boys’ are coming to invade Abuja is but a cheap imagination of a drawning man like Dino Melaye unless he (Dino Melaye) is hatching eggs of the dragons. Those who have been fighting Tinubu, Shettima ticket are known to be part of the Dino movement. Not even Charlie Boy could agree with Dino Melaye on this unless if he is also relinquishing his position known for decades as the ‘Area Father’ to Dino Melaye.

Dino Maleya is already confused. His plans are shattered by the political defeat. The Hausas would say “Ba Tsun-tsun ba Tarko.’ It is very unfortunate that while some of his comrades during the Campaigns are coming to terms with the reality, the Kogi politician who have lost everything politically is still living in the dreams that his party is still holding sway even when his paid master and some states where they appeared strong are putting down  their fighting tools in surrender to the facts that the game was over.

According to Dino Melaye, they (perhaps Dino and his ‘Area Boys’ would not allow a person with amnisia to rule them. Well, if he agrees that he is human and not some gods? Then, we shall remind him again that human has limitations to what the gods can do. And since he can neither give good health nor life to a fellow man, we pray that he aged well in his own eyes. Tinubu is human with all human infirmity, we wish him well and hope that God guides him to give us a better Nigeria under his leadership.
