The Managing Director, Bazuwa Motors Nigeria Limited, Alhaji Bukar Adamu Bazuwa has on Sunday said that the launching of Yobe State Education Recovery Appeal Fund is a right step in the right direction. Adding that, issues of education should not be left for the government alone if the society wants to grow in that direction.
He advocated that more people should come out and assist the government. “Our populations are increasing now and our demand is also increasing. Government can’t do everything for us. We have to wake up and assist the government and revive our education for the future of our children.” He said
Alhaji Bukar Adamu Bazuwa stated this while delivering his speech during the launching of #100 million education appeal fund Potiskum local government area of Yobe state.
According to him, “in the southern part of the country where they go far in education, they are taking responsibility for education in their areas, but we here like we don’t know the value of education, we are not taking education seriously in this part of the country.

“We can’t develop or progress without education . Everything has to do with education. Education is the light of our life. So it is better for us to give our contribution so as to save the future of our children. Our School facilities are rotten because there is no good maintenance.
“If people who are handling these facilities maintain these facilities which the government or individuals provide to them, it will motivate or encourage them to do more again. But if they continue to allow things to rot it will discourage those who are willing to contribute, therefore. I am calling on handlers of our schools to do the needful to encourage our government and those who are taking the pains to ensure we have good education in our area.” He said
He also advises the youths to separate education with pride. Adding that the problems which the society is facing now in northern Nigeria is that, youths who completed Secondary School or Diploma do not struggle to look for jobs where they can start life but often sit and wait for government’s job which are not forthcoming.
He said, “ Instead of waiting for the government they can have a small business to start with and grow from there. “
Alhaji Bukar Adamu Bazuwa maintained that life has changed now, “in the south you will see Yoruba or Ibo man with Ph.D but he is doing business, but here in the north is not like that, you will see person with Diploma, HND or Degree and he will not find any business to do, but will sit-down and wait for government to give him employment.”
He urged the youths to take lessons from the people of southern Nigeria and put away the culture of waiting on the government to do everything for them.
