Dr Modibbo Represents VP Shettima At Condolence Visit To Sule Garo Family

The Special Adviser to the President on General Duties (Office of the Vice President), Dr Aliyu Modibbo, has paid a condolence visit to the family of Alhaji Sule Galadima Garo following the death of their elder brother, Alhaji Abubakar Sule Garo (Babangida).

Representing Vice President Kashim Shettima, Dr Modibbo conveyed the Vice President’s heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, particularly to Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, who was the APC deputy governorship candidate in the 2023 Kano State election.

The late Alhaji Abubakar Sule Garo, who previously served as the Managing Director of the Abubakar Rimi Market Management Board in Kano State, was described by the Vice President as “a most committed advocate of his community who endeared himself to many with his politeness, kindness and commitment to the well-being of his people.”

During the visit, Dr Modibbo told the family, “The Vice President is deeply saddened by this loss and prays Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the departed and receive his soul into eternal peace.”
