Education: Teachers urge to double effort in Yobe

Primary Schools teachers in Potiskum local government area of Yobe state have been urged to double up efforts in order to give teaching and learning the desire effect to learners.
The Education Secretary of Potiskum Local Government Education Authority, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammed Daki made the call on Sunday in his office.
“All my workers, my staff are giving me full cooperation and we will excel through this cooperation that our head teachers use to give me.” Daki said.
“Governor Mai Mala Buni has declared education as one of the aspect of the emergency in the state, so i urged all parents to send their children to school.” He added.

According to him, education cannot wait in any circumstances. He also appeal to the parents to send their wards to school in order to acquire knowledge.
NEWSng reports that, enrollment in Potiskum local government is very impressive, as the total number of students going to school from the community is so high an indication that parents are getting more awareness about education in the state.
Alhaji Abubakar Muhammed Daki said in Potiskum local government they supported anything that has to do with the enrollment of students and the local government is capable to enroll greater number.
“We have a lot of enrollment and our teachers are doing their best. However, i call on teachers to double up there efforts with a view to give teaching and learning more attention so that we can produce the best ” The education secretary added.
