Education: Village head of Nangere calls for intervention in Yobe

The new village head of Sabon Garin Nangere in Tikau Emirate Council of Yobe state, Alhaji Bala Ibrahim Ba’aba has urged the elders and politicians in Nangere local government as well as the governor to intervene in the development of the people and the environment in order to create opportunity for growth.
The village head made the call in Sabon Garin Nangere, the headquarters of the emirate council in an interview with NEWSng at the weekend.
“We are backward in Nangere local government true to be sincere, being that like me, a civil servant, i go round the country, i know what is actually happened in other states, i enter some local governments definitely there is a development there but not here in Nangere.” Ba’aba said.
He said, in Nangere local government they do not have such encouragement for development. “we are of less advantage in others we know, but at least we need more encouragement from all. There are many factors that may come in, however, in Sabon Garin Nangere town ship we need some developmental projects.” He said.

Alhaji Bala Ibrahim Ba’aba also urged the parents in the area to send their children to schools, adding that they are future of the council.
He said, “we the parents we must ensure that our children to go back to school. This is very important in building the level of education of people from this local government.
“No matter how even if it is Islamic school let them go back to school knowledge is not wested. No matter the level of somebody goes to school, he or she can be of help to the society. We must encourage all.” He said.
The village head use the opportunity to also advise the cattle rearer that they should exercise patient more in the next one month or two months, so as to allow farmers harvest their crops before they release their animals into the farm lands.
