Elections: Zulum tours Shani, Hauwl LGAs for the APC campaign

Governor Babagana Umara Zulum during the weekend toured Shani and Hawul Local Government Areas for the continuation of the All Progressive Congress (APC’s) campaign rally in southern Borno.

Zulum visited both Local Governments on Sunday starting with Shani before proceeding to Azare, the headquarters of Hawul.

In both LGAs, Governor Zulum has enumerated achievements recorded by his administration in different sectors in the last three and half years, these include, security, education, healthcare service delivery, agriculture, and water among others.

Recall that Zulum flagged off southern Borno’s zonal rally on January 2, 2023, in Biu and later proceeded to Kawaya Kusar and Bayo Local Government Areas.

Zulum assured the people of Shani, Hawul and all other communities of consolidating on the successes of his first tenure if re-elected.

Earlier, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum had paid homage to the Emir of Shani, Alhaji Muhammadu Nasir Mailafiya at his palace.

In their separate remarks, the deputy governor, Umar Usman Kadafur, state APC Chairman, Ali Bukar Dalori, APC’s candidate for Askira-Uba, Hawul constituency, Tarpaya Asariya, Members representing Shani and Hauwl at the state assembly, council chairmen and several other speakers commended Governor Zulum for fulfilling his campaign promises and urge the people to vote all APC candidates.
