Emir of Potiskum urges youths to embark on community work on drainages ahead of raining season

His Royal Highness, the Emir of Pataskum in Yobe state, Alhaji Umaru Bubaram Ibn Wuriwa Bauya has call on youths to embark on community work to evacuate refused from drainages ahead of the raining season.
The Emir disclosed this through the Waziri of Pataskum, Alhaji Ali Muhammadu Guza while receiving the Dan Amana of Pataskum Emirate, Mr Adamu Haladu Boyi and his team at the Emir’s Place in Potiskum.
He said when the drainage were full with refuse it will cause over flooding and at the end many houses and properties would be collapse and damage, therefore, we need to wake up, we can’t wait for the government to come and done for us.
“The role of the Dan Amana in the emirate is very significant and also he can represent the emir in uniting the people of the emirate.” He added.
Speaking, the elder statement, Mr John Jonga said the Dan Amana of Pataskum Emirate and his team were at the emir’s place to expressed their appreciation to the emir for the title confirm on one of their son.
He said, we thank to this emirate hundred percent for the support it giving to the Christian community of this emirate and we are staying peaceful with the muslims.
Also speaking, Alhaji Suna Maje thank Pataskum Emirate council for the title confirm on one of the son of Maje, adding that, we are living in peace with Christian and the people of Mamudo.
He pray to Almighty Allah to continue protect this emirate and also pray for the emirate to stay for ever and also we would continue giving our support 100% to this emirate.
