Fear Grips Communities in Sabuwa over clash by bandits gangs in Katsina
Residents of Sabuwa local government area of Katsina state in northwest Nigeria on Friday said they are not able to go to the farm to look after their crops for fear of attack by bandits who are currently fighting among themselves.
According to a resident, Sani Salim on Wednesday fight broke out among the bandits over marriage interference by another bandits gang.
“The fight between members of two rival gangs of bandits has led to the death of a bandit leader called Dogs Nabajallah and three others. ” Salim said
Another source told Newsmen that the bandits’ leader known as Dogo Nabajallah was killed inside the axis of Dungun Muazu forest located in Sabuwa Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday when members of a rival gang reportedly swooped on him and his members over issues concerning the marriage of a woman.

Some residents in the surrounding communities who spoke under the condition of anonymity said members of the rival gang were unhappy over Nabajallah’s interference in the marriage, hence the Wednesday attack.
It was further learned that members of the Nabajallah group who were irked by his death confronted the rival gang during which they killed three of them ( members of the rival gang).
Another resident on Thursday also said that “Since Nabajallah was killed on Wednesday, we have been careful when going to the area for farming.
“Some of us have even decided not to go there for farming until tension goes down there as the bandits behave irrationally.”
It was further learned that Nabajallah’s remains were buried inside the forest on Wednesday.
The spokesman for the Katsina police command, SP Gambo Isah had not reacted to inquiries on the incident.
