FG Will Not Pay ASUU Members Their Salaries For Six Months Strike – Minister

The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu has said that; “the issue of paying ASUU members their salaries for the months they did not work is the only thing that remains unfulfilled in the agreement between ASUU and the FG”.

The minister disclosed this at a press conference held at the presidential palace in Abuja.

Adamu Adamu said that; “it is the right of the ASUU members to compensate the students for wasting their time for six months while they were on strike that the FG did not cause”.

“The students affected by the strike should take the association to court to seek compensation for the time they were forced to waste at home, the minister added”.
