FGC MAIDUGURI AT 50: Old students gifts Alma Mata with exercise books

The old Students Association of the Federal Government College Maiduguri (FEGOCOMOSA) have donated exercise books to students of their Alma Mata.

Making the distribution recently, the Vice President north east of the association Waziri Anas who represented the President said the gesture was part of their programs lined up for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the institution but could not be done earlier because of time.

He said that the old students themselves were sharing the books with a view of ensuring that each student got eight of the 80 leaves exercise books to complement their academic work.

Receiving the books on behalf of the Principal Mallam Habeeb Jibrila, Vice Principal academic Mallam Abdul’Aziz Kado expressed gratitude to the entire Old students for the timely gesture.

He described the alumni as true stake holders in the upliftment of education sector adding that God will give them double will power to continue to do more for their children and junior ones now trying to educate themselves in the school.

Over 1000 students received eight copies of 80 leaves exercise books from the association which was represented by Mallam Waziri and some old students to assist in the distribution.

The distribution was actually done class by class while those absent for specific reasons will get theirs later.
