GOD’S INTEREST, PLATEAU INTEREST

…Not PERSONAL INTEREST,

POLITICAL INTEREST AND TRIBAL INTERESTS.

For a week  i have observed divergent views on this Blue app swaying

this length, until i discovered it was getting extreme and toxic for the bond and cord of brotherhood that God has connected us to through our cultures and livelihood as neighbors living on the Plateau.

With many playing dirty, name-calling and blackmailing the political glidiators on the Plateau seeking to be elected Governor on the different political platforms (APC,PDP, LP Etc). All the political parties have their issues,internal tussles and what have you.

It’s easy for men to glide towards their personal interest which is expressed through their Political Party Affiliation and the Permutation of their Ethnicity.Simply for what they will gain or for  their loyalty to godFathers that they are all out to project and defend even if such figures are not straight forward and truthful.

Becoming Entitled and putting on a posture of discrediting others and assuming Mr. Right  status is downgrading.

Sadly speculating what you can’t genuinely defend is underrating.

What makes you enlightened is your sound coordination and objectivity. Everyone will not like what you like because everyone is entitled to his or her opinion.

This is not the first Governortorial Elections held on the Plateau neither will it be the last, whomsoever God has ordained to emerge Victorious to govern this state will win and no one can do anything about it.

So unreasonably heating the polity with lies,hate against each other and especially our Esteemed Plateau sons vying for the exalted position of our beloved state is uncalled for.

Where have we thrown our values, sense of right judgement, respect for humanity and the Uniqueness of our individuality to condencend to this low.

After the elections life continues. But of what good would you have done to  portray yourself in such light? 

Abusing a successful man does not make you successful.

Sadly it will go down in history that 2023 Elections on the Plateau was filled with sentiments of all sorts that made many lose their sense of humanity for their personal, political, tribal interest and not God’s interest nor the Plateau interest which is supposed to propel all of us. 

Until we grow above the mentioned interests we are not getting it right, of which we cannot escape the future consequences.

However,as a proud Plateau son i make bold to say Plateau is bigger than any individual, group or persons.

Politics of Division, Separation, Segregation and False Accusations will not take us anywhere. Let candidates market themselves and allow  the well meaning people of Plateau to genuinely throw their weight on whom they envision a future with than all this unnecessary speculations from all and sundry.

God will have his way, prepare your mind to accept it in good Faith than to assume a wrong posture that is detrimental to your person and future because of interests you are overwhelmed with.

Voice your views with Maturity and Modesty, not with Destructive tendencies.

After the Elections we will still live in Plateau, let’s not destroy ourselves by our interests and not live out the Plateau interest ordained by God.

The Plateau of our Dream is right before us, let’s unite ,put aside our differences and make it a reality.
