Gunmen Abduct Four Injure Two in Kogi Highway

Armed men attacked a Hiace bus traveling from Abuja to Lagos along Obajana Road in Kogi State, abducting four passengers and injuring two others, the police have confirmed.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the ncident occurred around 1:20 a.m. on March 19, 2025, when the Hiace bus (Reg. No. FGG 21 XS) carrying 17 passengers was ambushed at Gada Biyu.
The driver and one passenger were shot, while the assailants took the remaining passengers including a personnel, attached to the Border Patrol Unit into the bush, while a police inspector escaped unhurt.
The injured driver and passenger were rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, for treatment.
