Bandits have abducted a man, Zaharaddeen Magaji, from his residence in Gazara Village, Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The incident, which occurred on Sept. 11 at about 11:50 p.m., followed sporadic shooting by the attackers who stormed his house.

Security sources told Zagazola Makama that a combined team of operatives mobilised to the scene and recovered one empty magazine, one live ammunition, a pair of rubber shoes, and ten empty shells of AK47 ammunition.

The troops engaged the kidnappers in a gun duel while trailing them, but the assailants escaped with the victim.
