The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) came into the political environment like a joke but its presence is like a wildfire. Individuals and groups are decamping to the party. A senator from Kano State recently crossed to the NNPP making him the first senator of this party in the Senate.

Potiskum / Nangere Federal constituency of Yobe state is becoming a breeding field of NNPP through Hon. Ali Yakubu  Mainasara who is the aspirant and flag bearer of the party for the House Of Representative at the National Assembly.

Speaking to NEWSng recently Hon. Mainasara said that his chances and that of his party is good.

 ” I was there at the National Assembly in 2011 – 2015 , my people have had my test as their representative, ” he said.

Sources available revealed that between  2011-2015 Hon. Yakubu was able to empower youths educationally and also provided means of self-employment through his constituency projects.

The unfolding political events and the days ahead will unveil again to the people a choice for their tomorrow and his deeds in the past may once again speak for him.
