Hon. MSHELIA: Lost In The Complexities of Politics
By: Balami Lazarus
Following my last write- up on Hon (Dr) Haruna Musa Mshelia member representing Hawul/ Askira Uba federal constituency from Borno state at the National Assembly (House of Representatives) was greeted with mixed grill of praises, insults and name calling from some of our followers at NEWSng.
But as a Publisher/ Columnist I accepted it with heart. Notwithstanding, here is another one for Haruna Mshelia and his unfaithful supporters and die- hard. These persons are those that will never tell Hon. Musa that he is not performing and should make effort to do the needful to stay in the game of politics. And here is Rep. Haruna standing between political mandate and the Stethoscope lost in the mist not knowing what to do.
I will say it again and again that I have nothing against this lost, confused, bad politician Haruna Musa Mshelia who was said to be forced on the people of Hawul/ Askira Uba federal constituency in 2019 by the power that be. And he came in without any development plan for his people.
He might have seen this opportunity for self-improvement and for those that put him there. It could starve Hawul/ Askira Uba of physical development and deepen her lack of social infrastructures in order to deprive the acceleration of human capital development (HCD) among the people in their quest for growth and self- empowerment.

Dr. Haruna should know that as a politician elected by the people riding and swinging on their mandate should be ready to receive criticisms and blame of whichever is good or bad. And for those that are very close to Representative Mshelia, I will put it that they are not fair to him, for probably not advising or calling his attention to some issues of development that needed urgent attention in his constituency.
In this regard, I am stimulating Hon. Haruna Musa Mshelia and his cronies to show any physical development, social amenities undertaken and executed by him that is of the people’s interest. I reasonably believe none. And if any, let them have the platform to show it. I am happy that NEWSng gave everyone equal opportunity to air their opinions.
