While acknowledging the effort of the Humanitarian organizations he clarified that relying on humanitarian support always isn’t sustainable and non-encouraging, the people have to employ the habit of farming and self-reliance for the future of their children as a lot of atrocities have been in play such as child abuse, prostitution among others in viral in the camps.
He said that the return of IDPs to their communities is voluntary, as the government shall support all that are willing to return home with a startup package to each household and will reconstruct their homes.
“Those not willing to return can hang around and the government will look into a way to support them but no settlement in IDP camps again and no humanitarian support from organizations will be rendered after the closure of Camps.” He said
