Igbo community commit to support Zulum administration in Borno

The Igbo community in Borno state has paid a courtesy call on the state governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum where they expressed confidence in his leadership of the state.

The Igbo leaders said they will continue to support Zulum’s administration and ensure that all people continue to enjoy the peace that is gradually returning to the state.

The Igbo community led by Igwe Sunday Orisakwe stated that as people from the southeast states, they have enjoyed peace with their host community and have continued to enjoy the same with the Zulum administration.

“For us, Borno state is our second home as such the success of this administration is our success. ” Igwe Sunday said.

While responding, the governor said Borno has been a home of peace and hospitality as such welcomes every Nigerian to come and do business in the state without any form of hindrance.

“I feel delighted to receive you and I am assuring you of all the support necessary to give you the best of experience in Borno State. Nigeria is our country and everywhere you find yourself is supposed to be home for you.” The governor said.

Other members of the delegation of the Igbo community include Bishop Abwa Ebeh, Prince Chinedu Orisakwe and Mr. Joe Ngwu.
