A reknown Islamic medicine practitioner in Nigeria, Dr. Ahmed Abdulaziz alias Malam Ahmed Mai Rohani, has advised the federal government to create a department that will supervise the herbal medicine practitioners in the country.
Malam Ahmed Mai Rohani gave the advice while speaking to Newsmen in Potiskum, Yobe State.
He said, Some people praise themselves as herbal medicine doctors, but they don’t have the knowledge and begin to extort money from the people.
Dr. Ahmed Abdulaziz, who is also the Chiroman Sumaila in Kano State and Ambassador for Peace, revealed that he has received so many cases of people being duped by fake herbal medicine doctors.
According to him, within the five weeks he spent in Potiskum town, he treated about 696 people registered with different types of sickness, and he will continue doing that until the end of his life.
Dr. Ahmed Mai Rohani is the former Chairman of the National Youth Organization of Nigeria, and he travels to many states across the country and also to many countries in the world, including Niger, Ghana, Egypt, and Cameroon, among others.
Born in Kano in 1958, I hail from the Kano royal family, and I attended Islamic school at Madabo in Kano. I studied some Islamic books in Jos, Plateau State, under the late Sheick Ismaila Idriss from 1979 to 1980, and I am also chairman of Du’wal Islam Herbal Medicine Services (DIHMS).
I specialize in the treatment of spinal injuries, birth problems, diabetes, hypertension, and any kind of sickness with pure natural herbal medicine, and I believe in God.
“God give us everything in the Quran, God give us everything in the Hadiths, and use some trees and grass from the Quran and Hadith, and also get the registration of the Cooperative Affairs Commission (C A C).” Mai Rohani said
He said every sickness has its own medicine according to what Islam’s medicine says, adding that before the sickness comes to the world, God has brought the medicine.
