Jos: Former Commissioner, Hon. Elisha gives thanks to God after successful tenure

Hon. Elisha Bitrus Shehu (JP), the immediate past Commissioner of Environment under the former APC government of Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State, has expressed thankfulness to God for seeing him through the work he has done while serving the state.

Friends and relations who attended the thanksgiving service said it is the season of thanksgiving and appreciation to God, adding that men ought to give thanks always to God and to the society for the purpose of life and good health. 

“It was a harvest of thanksgiving and abundance of blessings, which Hon. Elisha demonstrated. This is good and worthy of emulation.” One of the guests said:.

NEWSng reports that the occasion was a double Thanksgiving for Hon. Shehu’s family.

Elder Elisha Bitrus is thanking and appreciating God for his political career and successful tenure as Commissioner of Environment.

“I thank and show gratitude to God Almighty for the privilege and opportunity to serve as Commissioner in the government of Simon Bako Lalong, the former Hon. Minister of Labour and Productivity, for finding me worthy to be one of his Commissioners,” Hon. Elisha said.

Also, Aha-Wami Miracle, his daughter, was dedicated to God for the purpose of life, good health, and spiritual growth during this occasion.

A book titled ‘The Ideal Purpose of Leadership’ (2023) written by Hon. Elisha Bitrus Shehu, was also dedicated.
