Kaduna Train Attack: Nigerians reacts says country reflect story of a One-Chance bus

By: James Bwala

Many Nigerians have reacted to the attack on Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday night describing the situation as unfortunate.

According to them, the country appears to be ungovernable with crises everywhere as the people no longer know whether there are civil authorities in the country or not.

Speaking to a cross section of people at a newsstand in Mararaba, who troops early hours of Tuesday to have a glance of what the situation is described Nigeria as a One-Chance bus. Perhaps that is also the reason why many Nigerians also wants to leave the country.

“We are no longer living in this country, we are surviving from one terribleness to another yet we say we have a country. ” A man identified as Emeka Onoha said as he went through the morning papers.

NEWSng reports that, while many Nigerians are lamenting the situations in the country with the recent attack and earlier ones particularly in Kaduna state trouble almost broke out when someone in the middle of the argument says no one was injured in the train attack and that all the 970 passengers were rescued.

Readers at the free reading stand pounced on him and calling him agent of darkness who is helping the government to perpetrate its evil intention and promotion of terrorism.

“You are an evil person.” One of the readers said, “We are all reading stories from different media outlets who spoke with the people and victims of this ill-fated train and you have the guts to say such things. Who told you nobody was injured. People were killed, others abducted and you come here to speak rubbish!”

It took the intervention of some policemen present to rescue him from the public anger as he crossed to the other side of the road and disappeared.

Talking about the attack on the Kaduna bound train, the people said they are not blaming the government for the failure in the country but people who support the government on the streets by selling falsehoods to other innocent Nigerians who are gullible to everything they hear.

“Government is the promoter of such falsehood. How can anyone imagine that nothing happened with such a devastating attack on Innocent people? I don’t blame them because they are so detailed like the people they are supporting.

“This is how Nigeria began to experience derailment under this regime by people who love to promote falsehood in their attempts to promote the government. Why won’t we be experiencing all these heartbreaking incidents?

“Why in the first place would we have terrorists, attacking not at the fringes of this country again, but at central Nigeria and still escape untouched repeatedly in a broad day light? The incompetence of our government and that of our security forces is just legendary” Another said
