Media Game showcases return of peace in Yobe – Comrade Rajab

The Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Yobe council, Comrade Rajab Mohammed has said that the media games held in the state has showcased to the world that peace has returned to Yobe state.

Rajab stated this at the closing ceremony of the 2021 media games organized by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Yobe council at its Secretariat Gashu’a road, Damaturu.

He acknowledge the effort of President Muhammadu Buhari, Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, Security operatives, traditional rulers and citizens who contributed to the success of the game and in the spirit of peace.

The union also acknowledge the support of Yobe state government, security agencies, sister unions and other too numerous to mention for facilitating the exercise.

“This media games has enhanced unity among the chapels, members and community as well as improved body fitness.” Rajab Mohammed said.

“It is our delight to particularly welcome all the dignitaries who despite their numerous engagement but squeezed time to be here with us and also we are indeed grateful for honoring our invitation. I believe the entire working journalists are  happy to see you.” He added

Comrade Rajab Mohammed also thank members of the organizing for a job well-done and by bringing journalists together to catch vibes through sports despite their tedious engagement.

He said grand finale of the peace media games is one of the best social engagements he participated in since he started his career as a journalist in 2013
