The Minister charged the developers, including Katalyst Dynamics and Contracting Co. Engr. Gwarzo underscored the economic impact of this housing initiative, noting that each housing unit’s construction can generate an average of 25 direct and indirect jobs, potentially creating over 6,500 jobs through this project.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Mai Mala Buni for the provision of land at no cost, significantly reducing housing unit costs, and demonstrating effective governance.
Speaking at the occasion, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State appealed to the federal government to look into our request that the Yobe State government acquire the 208 housing units earlier constructed in Damaturu by the federal government with a 50 percent discount.
He expressed gratitude to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for providing Nigerians with decent accommodation, especially in states like Yobe State.
“This administration constructed 2,350 housing units in the seventeen local government headquarters as well as other towns in the state.
