Three children from Trade Center, Kuru District in Jos South LGA, Plateau State, were found unconscious in a vehicle on April 27, 2025, leading to the tragic deaths of two of them.

Samuel Jang, the father of the children Diamond, Enoch and Roseline reported to the police that the children had gone to a Catholic church at Dan Karang Trade Centre but did not return home.

The children were later found inside a tinted Honda vehicle belonging to Mr. Davou Aka Fire, parked near the church. The victims were immediately rushed to Vom Christian Hospital, where two of them were confirmed dead by a medical doctor, while one child is still responding to treatment.

In the aftermath, aggrieved members of the community attempted to lynch the vehicle owner. However, police officers from the Kuru Division, led by Supol K/Vom, intervened and rescued the suspect, who was subsequently moved to the state CID for safe custody.
