MNJTF troops repel ISWAP attack in Monguno

The troops of Sector 3 Multi National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) have repelled attacks by the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Monguno, the northern part of Borno State.
It was gathered that the suspected ISWAP terrorists on several hilux trucks mounted with Anti AirCraft guns, Motorcycles while others on foot attacked troops at Charlie 6 within the parapet of Monguno Town on July 20, 2023.
Zagazola understands that the attack was successfully repelled as the troops successfully pushed back the terrorists.
